We are proud of our successes!  These include:

• holding a very successful public event on plastic pollution with keynote speaker Judith Enck from Beyond Plastics

• holding a native tree sale

• educating the public on the health and environmental risks of pesticide use

• selling "Pesticide Free, Safe for All Living Things" lawn signs

• educating the public on the dangers of artificial turf (even if we didn't win the school board's vote)

• advocating for electric school buses and getting five in the first year with more coming (more than any other upstate school district)

• advocating for and saving 307 town acres from development - the largest municipal land purchase in Hudson Valley history

• campaigning in support of a local solar farm

• providing significant scientific and community input to the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee, positively influencing the creation of the town's new 2023 Comprehensive Plan

• advocating for the recent town building moratorium

• advocating for the extension of the moratorium

• participating in a large collaborative effort to educate the broader Capital Region community about creating ecologically friendly, native, sustainable yards
