Open Space Initiatives

All forms of open space are important to Bethlehem's character.

Our past initiatives include a petition supporting the updating of the town's comprehensive plan and a building moratorium during that process. We have organized community talks by experts, such as on urban planning to address growth pressures, and support ecologically sustainable yards and gardens.

Bethlehem Tomorrow was pleased to support the purchase of the Heath Farm in Glenmont, NY to  serve as an incubator and hub for small ag business and food production in the town. Plans for its use the the restoration of its iconic barn are underway.
