Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Bethlehem recently updated its comprehensive plan, originally created in 2005. The update effort was branded as Bethlehem Forward.

Bethlehem Tomorrow was an early proponent of the effort. In 2019, we delivered a petition with 700 signatures to Town leadership encouraging them to launch this update.

We remained fully engaged throughout the year and a half long process, attending meetings of the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee (CPUC), providing updates via our mailing list, and organizing community talks by experts on topics related to the comprehensive plan.

A new comprehensive plan was adopted by the Town of Bethlehem in 2022.
